Do we know if the Red Module Adapter and each new Red Module has the four "Adapter Module Connection Points" like those on the back of the EPIC brain? I guess Tim Whitcomb might know after test driving the Quad Battery Module.

No, it is a different physical connection. The Interface Adapter is a small plate that will adapt the quick release system on the APU to the module interface. Then just choose which length cable you want to clear whatever accessories you have mounted on the camera and you're in business.

Not worried about heat, but doubt we'd want to build without a top handle, so I don't think it matters much anyway.
