Hi All,
I was playing around with an Epic the other day and was trying to figure out how to create LUTs/Look Presets to store on the Epic, based off quick grades/looks made in RC-X...
Since RedColor 2 is one of the viewing options on Epic, I would have thought that I could save a look from RC-X using RedColor 2/RedGamma 2, but when I tried to "save current look to camera," I got an error message saying that RedColor/RedGamma had to be used in order for this function to work. I assume this is a legacy matter for use with the R1, though it would be great if there was an override option for using this feature with Epic.
How are people saving look presets on their Epic? I'm sure it's possible to adjust all the variables in camera and then saving it, but sometimes it's easier to manipulate an image with a GUI like RC-X. I've also found that oftentimes WYSIWYG does not apply from on-camera monitoring to post, so I'm hoping building looks in RC-X for in-camera use will be a viable option in the near future.
Any other methods I should be aware of? Your thoughts and input are appreciated.
Cheers,
Clint
