Magic Motion

Okay so I feel dumb for asking, but I was curious as to how I turn on Magic Motion. I had thought it was in the camera, but recently found out it was in REDCINE-X. What am I do wrong?

The camera shoots HDRx - this is an A and an X track. How you deal with those is an area you have flexibility with in post.
Magic motion is an option under the HDRx tab (in RedCineX Pro) on the right... but you will need an HDRx clip for the optional pulldown menu to be an option (inside the HDRx tab)

I'm getting confused about magic motion.
The Epic manual says this:
"What your eye sees though is both motion blur AND a sharper reference to the arm and hand all along the motion path. "Magic Motion" provides such a combination of motion blur (A-track) and a sharper reference (X-track)"
But when I look at an HDRx shot in Redcine-x Pro using "Magic Motion" it appears that even the X track has motion blur, which matches the A track.
When I choose "simple Blend" however, I can see that the X track image is much sharper than the A track image, so this mode DOES let me combine the motion blur and sharper reference.
Seems like they are the wrong way round?
Is the magic motion setting using "more normal motion blur"?
