I would use RCX vs RCXP right now since it is a firmware build vs a beta build. Also as Toia stated, auto WB adds or subtracts green depending on where you are balancing. Use a hard set balance or dial in a manual WB depending on 3200 or 5600.

RCPX is more than stable, beta nor not.

And yeah, my fat fingers have hit that WB button too. Easy fixed as others have mentioned.

I loved carrying a small sd card from camera to camera giving them all the same settings.

Can that be done wirelessly now with EPIC?

Where are the settings and look files stored?

Yeah, not sure how many of you missed the part where it said, "I did a full factory reset" so, just to reiterate,

    1. I have just now done a full factory reset on the camera 5 times. Also have checked for look and all the profiles and its neutral.

    2. Without doing anything else, I record something from where the camera is. I did not have side handle on in case the wind pushed the button auto WB button behind my back.

    3. I take SSD and Put into RCXP and all clips have +19 Green tint. Same for RCX so i dont think its software problem.

And yes its not a huge problem for me as i would just profile it, but when people with no brains hire out the camera, i don't want phone calls at 3am asking why all the clips are green.

Did you go into the menus and reset the tint as suggested?

Is tint as a option really needed this day and age... Just curious ? The REDCOLOUR2 setting using straight KELVIN adjustments looks perfect to me.

Is there a reason to have it in the camera. I can see the use of it in RCX and Grading suites. But it always seems to trip me up also. (But doesn't screw me)

Like I siad.. Just curious ?

For my part, I like having the ability to change hue and tint in camera metadata, as it can sometimes be helpful when painting to show a director an example of the end-look I may be thinking of. But the number of times I use Auto White Balance is very very low. OK, I'll admit it: zero. When using a non-RAW camera, I like to know that the gels I call for are doing what I expect.
