It disappeared from roadmaps, followed by rumour mongering... twice or three times this week now. either way we wait and see what comes.

    It hasn't disappeared.

Just be patient. I'll admit, I was nervous that it had disappeared, but what Jim said is true. If you're nervous that some how RED is going to drop the ball on the Epic S, then you're not fully committed to them.

They know how important that camera is and how many people want it. Im 100% positive they wouldn't do anything drastic, to people who are investing in their company.

    I have hope.

Remember what Jim said: "If anything changes, its always for the better". I trust those words.

I love what RED does, it makes amazing cameras i use them over others, and love them, but im not so convinced about that mindset as you are.. i cant be committed to brands like that... when there is a product with specs and a release date, theres money in your account and your ready to do business, its time to commit.

  5. #65 Epic for non R1 owners?
I've been following the EPIC evolution since the beginning and was just wondering when the EPIC will be available to non-Red One owners?
I know it's after stage 4. But roughly when would that be. My credit card is so itchy

If this has been answered before somewhere else I apologize for being in the wrong blog, couldn't find the right one anywhere.

Stage 4 is *everyone*, so after stage 3. Or you could buy an EPIC-M today.

Jim, what about Full Frame 35mm 6K+ with 3:2 aspect ratio sensor? I don't see FF 35 on the list?
