Good thing I already have the cash set aside for Epic X and don't need to sell my RED MX. But I want to hear exactly what all this is about.

There have been many Redusers who sold their Red One, including Steve Gibby, I believe, and others. I guess they were confused with the meaning of "keep" as opposed to return it to RED for a trade in for stage 3. Not sure why these Redusers, many of them early adopters and respected posters, would be labeled with "bad attitude". I'm sure they all love Red One, but not everyone is a camera collector. Jarred, can you please explain?

I see, so people have actually been transfering their RED ONE ownership before getting Epic X? (how do you know this?)
True. It is my understanding that they may have sold their Red One and opted for stage 2 before you clarified that you weren't happy with it. I'm just trying to see both sides of the coin as I know many of those Redusers are big supporters of RED. I think in most cases it was a "confusion" or misunderstanding rather than "bad attitude" and it would be harsh to treat them this way.
As a stage 2 customer I have always understood that ownership cannot be transferred until we accept delivery of our EPIC X. Once we take ownership of the EPIC, we are free to sell our executed Red One if we choose to. We paid for it, we own it, we have the right to sell it -- as long as we abide by the terms and conditions spelled out in the agreement. Makes sense to me.
