That is what I really love about the new red!, All tough I am waiting for Scarlet fixed knowing that accessories, modules etc. fit on higher epics etc. It gives room for starters like me to grow.
It is said but understandably that Red has to close the door more but it is a good sign, it means Red is now becoming main stream! Close to the new industrial standard!

    Hi Jim,

As a rental company, RED's earlier philoshopy of letting people know what is coming is best because then they can plan their investments.Had I not known that EPIC is coming , then maybe I would have purchased some Alexa's....and rued once EPIC would have been launced...as some guys here are doing after they saw our EPIC-M....Maybe I am being selfish in thinking about by own business only...

For one, REDrumors would be infringing on their trademarks. Better to keep peace. RED is an interesting company. Small enough to have that personal touch, but big enough to lead the industry. I'd rather not cross blades with the combination of those two. :D

Congratulation to that. I can see you have more confident to shoot out more products even with the new philosophy.

Understandable. You've given us a ton of dreams and expectations, and having already fulfilled many of them for so many, this policy is great timing! :)

So... does this mean that we're going to get more announcements this September as previously said or not anymore?

But you guys get as giddy as a kid at Christmas every time you do something cool.... i'll bet it will be hard work keeping away from the forum, after those late night development sessions and a glass or two of fine wine to celebrate.
