Ben, Thanks for the kind offer, we'll definitely let you know when we need some good old fashioned independent testing, and would love to have your input.

    Dominik,
Many apologies that you seem to be having trouble testing this out. We've found at least one hugely embarassing bug where a particular camera type at a particular resolution tripped us up just a bit in a way that sounds an awful lot like this problem. So if you have the time to drop us some information on what camera you're using, the resolution, and settings of any nature that you think might help, we would be greatly appreciative.

In completely unrelated news, sadly I haven't seen Nathan around in quite awhile - not sure where he's zipped off to.... but then again, I suspect the Queen of England herself could walk through on occasion, and I might not notice, such is the slighly myopic life of us computer geeks.

This app is still under development right? I am about to purchase it but not sure if it will keep being supported.

And I really love what u guys did with this app, you just made a new scarlet owner very happy!

So After effects plug-in coming soon? What about premiere? Also 5D/7D support?

If so, then you just earned another customer!

Indeed! We're planning on supporting this app for some time to come, and in fact, the app is continuing to be updated as we speak. We've got all sorts of new stuff - in particular, we're upgrading our red-rocket support, so it's blisteringly quick. We've also revamped our renderer with increased speed and accuracy. Of course, we're also integrating 5D/7D support into the same app as well, and we're going to be adding a bunch of new film stocks, that we hope are going to work well.

Even better, the After Effects plugin is also, happily, almost completed - we're just putting the finishing touches on it, so expect to see it pushed out the door soon.

Our Kickstarter campaign was a Staff Pick! We were also Featured on Kickstarter's home page and we won Indiewire's Project of the Week with over 70% of the total votes. Our campaign was very successful. The fundraising continues.

Thank you so much for the reply, Lance. If it's alright, can you give us an estimated delivery date on this next update? Is it weeks we are waiting for or months?

Also, by the time the new "RedColor3 and RedGamma3" SDK comes out, will you guys implement that into your software?

Is the AE plug-in AE only or it works with Premiere as well?

    Thanks again!

We're just a tiny bit slow off the mark on the Windows version - happily though, we'll have some fine and wicked windows compatible after effects plugins in the very near future, with more windows goodness to follow.

Hello Sky, Thanks heaps for your interest.

Currently, we're planning a fine release of the current suite of software products in the next 4-6 weeks (this being software of course, 6-8 weeks is probably where we're actually going to hit). As far as new Red gamma curve happiness, we're working on slotting additional support into future releases, but aren't quite sure of the schedule on that just yet (so much software, so little time...)

The After Effects stuff can work through premiere of course (using the adobe-integrated suite of tools), but unfortunately the plugin interface is significantly different for premiere, so we won't have a direct-inside-premiere solution immediately. Rest assured though, this is on our list of products that we want to support, as we do think it would be cool to be able to get a film look directly inside premiere, so look fo it in follow-on releases.

So the stand alone product and the after effects plug-in will come as two separate products? Will there be price difference? Or funtionaliy differences?

And after effects plugin will read directly from the raw file inside of the system? Will it extract information from the clip directly from raw as it does right now(bypassing everything else) in the current version, so will it be reading info from the clip in the AE project that has the raw settings adjusted(interpreted) in the AE red settings?

    Thank you so much!

Also, would the existing user have to pay anything for the upgrade? what about the plugin?
