any update regarding the RedRocket support?
thanks
g
We're quite close to the next update - we're currently stomping out the latest set of bugs, and aim to have a fine, new, and ultra-zippy redRocket version out in the next month or so, so please stay tuned.
In the meantime, our research monkeys are also plonking away on some fine plugin technology for afterEffects, and a whole host of pretty cool additional filmstocks (think: print film stocks that you ordinarily wouldn't see in a motion picture camera) and hope to have some news to share with you on all these things very soon.
thanks for the update lance,
But if i may : to me this clever idea is unusable without the Red Rocket support ...(just my testimony)
so you are saying that RR support might come But over a month from now ? ...i was actually looking forward to it since you said was in the making on Feb 25th...
thanks
g
As a Fusion user I'm keen on the Windows version.
Indeed, the red rocket support is in the next build, so it's not an if, but a when - we really are just in that ever so slightly annoying "software-time", where the process of ironing out bugs is taking longer than expected.
We hugely appreciate your patience here, understanding as we do that the software-only solution is a but ugly at the moment, and hope that when we throw stuff on out there, you're going to be quite keen on taking a further look.
Hey Peter, a vote for Fusion indeed - I believe that it may already be on our list of plugin tech to build. We're also very very near pumping out an after effects version too, for both windows and mac, if that's any use to you.
Lance, i just wanted to give you some props. This software didn't interest me that much from your demo photos. But I downloaded the trial version and I flat out love what this does to my footage.
Really great job here. Unfortunately I can't afford $500 for the purchase, I wish it was $299. But i will certainly recommend this product to several of my editors in LA.
Matthew,
Thanks heaps for your support indeed. We're hoping that when you see all our awesome new stocks, and the plugins that are coming, that you'll run out and grab a copy anyway.
We also truely thank you for recommending us to your fine editors - we'd like to think that this product can sit in that strange nebulous space that now exists between production and post - the sort of tool that DPs can use to help direct the look, and that editors and colourists can use to get an even better look and feel quickly and effortlessly.
How about an update on the development status?
Looking forward for an OFX Fusion or PPro plug-in for Windows too.
