I feel like mine is going to take a while to get to me because I ordered it on the 11th of September. Just saying that because of the guys that ordered right after the mounts popped up on the site and still haven't gotten them. I'm imagining some old guy in the basement of RED HQ turning these mounts out by hand on a lathe before there are sent off to QC where Jarred took those nice pictures.

I ordered mine right away, it's still not been sent out yet. I know they are doing their best to get them out to us but they are moving facilities, probably getting demands from grandfathered (Red One) owners to ship to them first. I can only say oh well and hope it arrives soon as well as the rest of the stuff. When frustration and excitement get to you remember, you are part of cinematic history on par with what Apple did to home computers -- this has already changed everything... Kodak, Arri are hanging on for dear life and Panavision announced they are no longer making film cameras.

Patience is good, making sure your customers are happy is good too, and all money spends the same way so it's a two way street. Red is by far the best camera company out there in the world today, they are just growing faster than even they anticipated.

sorry guys.. Team found a bug with the canon build last minute, maybe wed :)

This is what I was referring to.. Will this delay shipments? I was supposed to bein the next batch and my bomb rep told me because of this there will be a delay.. This sucks. I don't understand if it's not physical why can't they ship them ?

let them fix it or go to red jail for a few days (banned from red user).

Please stay tuned and see, the bug may require a firmware update. I don't think you want to take any chances with a bug that Red would stop shipping for.

software build will not and has not stalled shipments whatsoever... and there are no grandfathered etc. priority.. it goes in order of when you completed your order for the mount on RED.COM.

Sorry for the delay in build... bug is fixed just wanted to go through 24 hours of testing.
