I would also like to know if iris control works on more unusual lenses like the Voigtlander Color Skopar 20mm f/3.5 (canon EOS version).
It seems that not all Zeiss ZE lenses work yet : http://reduser.net/forum/showthread....n-Mount-issues

Hey Jarred, was the Sigma 30/1.4 EX ever added to the list of supported Sigmas on the Canon mount?

    Thanks!

I've read multiple reports of ZE lenses behaving crazy on Canon mount (aperture closing and opening rapidly once the lens is installed).
Do you have such problems with your ZEs? Or have RED already added support for these lenses to the latest firmware?

thanks, the zeiss lenses I have all behave well (21, 35, 50mm) on build 1.7.10, the problem you describe I noticed on the sigma 70-200, aperture closing and opening rapidly.
I bypassed this by setting the wanted aperture on a 5dmk2 and then moving the lens over to the epic, and turning it not all the way so the contacts do not see the lens.
hopefully this lens will be supported soon as well.

I ordered 29th Sept and haven't received the email. Estimates of 'pre-xmas' turned out to be inaccurate

Gonna have to be a lot of emails to be out of back order by mid-january. I'll be excited to see them make that.

Does this mean the Sigma 24-70 2.8 EX DG non-HSM will work too?

Also, does anyone know if the Tokina 28-70 2.8 EF mount works?

Are the screws that came with the Canon mount different from the screws used on the original PL mount?

I just noticed the instructions state to not use the original screws, but they look identical.
