Does Flame Premium already supports the Epic?

Will it support the Epic very soon ?

Will it support the Epic Raw files directly without having it to rerender to a more flame supported codec???

    would really like to know.

    any info appreciated.

Flame Premium has been supporting Epic for awhile now.

Import EDL and conform directly from R3D's. The footage looks gorgeous in Lustre.

There will be a major HDRx update right after the IBC show. You can take a look at fxguide website.

This is cool! I thought Flame has to convert everything to DPX first...

It converts all to DPX while you can start working in a proxy resolution off the R3Ds.

    How about the speed,
can you work quiet fast, how is the response???

Would smoke handle it quiet similar.

other question... What happens if new red epic builds come out??? do you have to pay a major update , or might end up with a system that's not capable of opening your footage??
