Ketch + Epic + Canon Mount

This is Ketch's thread but I just wanted to add my impressions.

The mount is gorgeous. Robust. Really well made and...

combines a PL style lock for extra security, so after the lens clicks on you also rotate a PL style lock that really secures it to the body.

It's a professional mount made for a cinema camera, pro all the way, top notch build quality.
It's nicer than the original Canon mount because of these factors.

Did I mention its titanium?

I just wanted to share that this is a very pro piece of kit, really a fantastic value.

No one will be dissapointed. RED did a great job. They listen, respond and deliver.

He he, nope, I don't like the Cadilac at all, a nice GMC Yukon special edition Denali fits me just fine... ;)

And now this baby is getting a GPL Implant, ZERO Emission so I can travel in ZTL areas all the time, keep my footprint to a minimum and oh pend less... ;)

My favourite topic! I have my Navigator running a Prinz LPG conversion just the same - I can recommend it very highly; you can switch fuel seamlessly and its totally reliable. You may have to say bye bye to that spare tyre though to find room for the tank.

Correct, the spare tyre will be replaced by the GPL tank, and we'll carry a special Kit, to inflate a tyre if it was to become punctured.


Yeah back to cameras.... CANON MOUNT... I still can't believe I have one right here!! SO much to do!!

He he, the girls are asking what type of Oil they should buy... I just said to make sure it has a Sun Block, don't want them to get Burned out there.... ;)

Iris and autofocus control from the Redmote is just what the (underwater) doctor ordered. Can you manually set/adjust focus with the Redmote?
