    Hello,

I've been using Lion now for a few weeks, and I just tried for the first time using Lion to open up a new project. FCP wouldn't recognize my .R3Ds. I tried installing again the codec but it still won't take it. I opened up a previous project and it wouldn't take the .R3Ds either, even though they worked before. I am currently running FCP 7.0.3 and shot today on the Epic.

    Help!

Do you mean in-camera proxy MOV files? FCP never really ''Took" R3D's...

Just noticed you were shooting with EPIC - AFAIK EPIC footage doesn't support QT wrappers. I see a green screen in QT7x and black in QTX. You're kind of back in the (render offline > edit > conform > color > render) world again for EPIC. If your facility can do it, I would seriously recommend moving to Premiere Pro CS5.5. We've been loving it.

I will edit this in Premiere Pro then. We own CS5 - is it worth getting 5.5?

I found the solution. You have to go an export it from Cine-X.
