    2) Krussell iphone 4 leather case ($12.99)
    3) Proporta aluminum lined leather case for iphone 4 ($29.99)

We were looking for something small enough to slip in your pocket but still providing protection until it arrived at the DIT station or whatever. Waterproof was not a criteria.

The Proporta won. The fit was best on the Proporta (very snug) with an elegant little strap that ejected the SSD out of the case and it was re-enforced with aluminum. Most expensive, but all around the best solution.

The Pelican was too big, the Krussel too loose and flimsy overall

The original Pelican card cases with the foam insert removed would work with a little tweaking, but then you lose the foam padding and they are bigger than the Proporta.

We also got the Red four-case as well which provides the most protection for storage or shipping if out of the camera case. It can also be used at the DIT station.
also on that thread, the pelican 1015/iphone case is said to work (holding up to 3 or 4 mags). some other good suggestions there as well. http://reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?58670-SSD-case

    Curt,

Did you just add those last night? Was looking at the VF site, noticed this product and immediately tried to find this thread - and there you are.

    My questions:

Were there any temperature tests done? Inquiry is thinking of the durability of the hinge and flaps in winter conditions.

How tight is the seal? Assuming it is not waterproof, but is it water resistant?

Brian - Yes, we just put these up last night. There's another thread that is specific to this product so I'll answer your question over there... http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...835-Cargo-Hold
