Has anyone ever run into an issue where Color gets confused between Edge and Time Code in r3d's? This is manifesting itself as every clip viewing only as a still frame (usually a part of the clip nowhere near the actual edit points) - Clipfinder's Looping Fix/ColorFixer/etc all have no effect on the project...
The QT proxies (which re-linked successfully via Clipfinder from earlier xcodes) all show TOD, and the sequence plays perfectly fine in Final Cut. But when I send it into Color, it looks like the "Source In" reverts to edgecode, while the "Source Out" still shows the ("correct" TOD) tc. (please see the attached screengrab)
I've tried importing everything as an EDL, but that gave all sorts of errors with incorrect TC references, such as:
The start timecode of /Volumes/LIBERTY ROAD 2 1/ r3d/Day 3/A_19/A013_03294T.RDM/A013_C001_0329VH.RDC 01:00:00:00 intersects with /Volumes/LIBERTY ROAD 2 1/ r3d/Day 3/A_013/A013_03294T.RDM/A013_C001_0329VH.RDC 01:00:00:00 - 01:02:02:12
The end timecode of /Volumes/LIBERTY ROAD 2 1/ r3d/Day 3/A_19/A013_03294T.RDM/A013_C001_0329VH.RDC 01:02:02:12 intersects with /Volumes/LIBERTY ROAD 2 1/ r3d/Day 3/A_013/A013_03294T.RDM/A013_C002_0329U4.RDC 01:02:02:12 - 01:03:14:12
for pretty much every single clip in the project.
Everything works fine (save one lone clip) when I import the EDL into RedCine, and that's my backup plan for grading, but I'd much rather keep the project in Color if at all possible.
The project was initially shot in 4khd on build 30 (M, not MX if it makes any difference).
Any thoughts? I've tried everything I can possibly think of and then some...
Thanks!
