Oh, I see. So the XL are basically the same size at two Redvolts side by side?

Thanks for the update Jim. Red continues to illustrate, to other companies that care (dare?) to listen, how to deal with customers. Awesome!

Not too far off the thread I hope. What's the current status of audio with the Epic-M? Delivery out of stock is making it look very good.
    Cheers

Audio works fine on the latest build of Epic M.

Holy sh*t - I can almost taste my Epic-X and feel it's weight in my hands already. Wonderful!

    Jep good question Tom
Stuff that we should know soon. My old RED batteries started dying on me. So I need new ones. But how many because of the redvolts.
Will there be enough in September or do we have to work with "old" V mounts etc etc?

Would be nice to know a bit more in this regard. In 2 month my Epic will hopefully be in my hands and we have to plan all the accessories.

    Thanks guys

XL Redvolts as those situations were longer battery power is needed and less swaps made the better.
    Hey Ketch

do you know how long the bigger RED volts will last?
If they last around an hour that would be killer.
Then RED should make an battery holder for just one XL Volt so the Epic Kit can stay as small as possible.
I really want to keep my Epic as small and light.

    Thanks man

Ha Ha. Just reading up on sales techniques at the moment.

You know Jim, you're supposed to use the threat of rising prices as an incentive to buy but to do that they need to be going up really, really soon. I just don't think, "you'd better buy today because the price is set to rise... in five months!" has the right ring to it;-))) Still, I guess just making the best damn camera on the planet just might be incentive enough.

My back loves the EPIC, I am a steadicam guy so having a 1/4 of the weight is awesome and so is the high speed frame rate.

The pictures are great, camera is very stable I am a happy man!
