    HA - OK!

1994-2000: my parents' Panasonic VHS-C camcorder
1997: my friend's parents' JVC camcorder (also, the time I learnt my first NLE - Ulead Media Studio and Adobe Premiere!)
2000: ancient BetaSP camera borrowed from the university AV dept
2001: my university's Canon XM1 which I somehow held onto for the entire year (PAL version of GL1, with 25p, before DVX100 was released - see why DVXUser never caught on in South Africa?).
2002-2005: my very own Sony PC5e (bought used)
    2002: my friend's Canon XL1s
    2003: USC's PD150
    2003: USC's Arri 16mm SR
2004: rented Varicam (on a Technocrane!)
    2007-today: HV20
    2007: RED ONE
    2009: GH1
    2010: Alexa
    2011-present: RED EPIC
    2011-present: Nikon D7000

    Sony Betamax Camera (my dad's)
    Sony Video-8 home camera
    JVC VHS-C camera
    Canon GL1
Panasonic DVX100 - used, not owned
    Canon HV20
Nikon D90 - loved this one, first ever to make a movie with one
    Canon 5D Mark II

Not sure where to go from here, considering higher megapixels for 3D work but also like HDR still and motion features of Epic, hard to say at this point what I'll go with in the future.

    ...love that thread!
it's like treading playcards on a foursome... (HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...)
the list is long, but now we all long for one, the (RED) ONE is in our heads and
we all want the EPIC in our hands!
I throw one in, which I haven't seen so far on this thread...
The awesome Canon 310XL (Super 8) with the incredible lens of 1:1 (f-stop)!

    Oh heck.

In rough chronological order (although there was some chopping & changing back & forth) the 'serious' (for the time) cameras were....

    Kodak Instamatic
    Zenit B
    Cosina CT-1
    Canon F1 (original)
Canon A1 (then dumped Canon permanently and irrevocably because they screwed me by obsoleting my FD glass!)
    Bronica ETRC (not bad)
    Rollei SL2000F
Rollei 3003 (fascinating design - very clever)
    Mamiya 645 (briefly)
    Rollei SL66E (loved it!)
(odd assortment of early pocket digital cameras, mostly Leica badged)
    Kodak DCS 620X
Kodak DCS 760 (still my favourite digital in terms of construction)
Kodak DCS14n (biggest POS I ever made the mistake of owning)
    Nikon D70 (spare body)
    Nikon D3
    RED ONE

(few others over the years, not sure where they fit in - used a Hassy 2000FC for a while, various digital pocket cameras mostly for wife & kids etc., some others. Still have a Sony HDR-FX1 from when I started experimenting with video!)
