Just wanted to send a shout out to Norm.

We had the pleasure of working with him on set here in Montreal, and he brought his baby with him.

He's a great guy, and was shooting some really nice stuff - with a really nice camera! Its a great feeling to behold (and hold!) the Epic in flesh and blood! (Not to mention a really nice new set of Cooke Panchros. . .)

Its the first time for me that I've come face to face with the camera. With all the talk of how dense it is, I was actually expecting it to be heavier, its surprisingly light. First impressions are definitely that this is a solid, solid camera. Great work RED. The only problem is, now I'm itching more than ever for Epic-X to start rolling!

So thanks again Norm, and best of luck with everything!

Hey Norm -technically that would have been us on our Psychopaths documentary for CBC. We shot 24 frame and used HDRx...

We shot 300fps and some 96fps HDRx of 5000deg Celsius Plasmatorches in Montreal. Crazy!
