Yes If only I was Canadian.....
The DP is Paul Cameron ASC.
Haha, I jumped a little in my seat when I saw the thread title. I thought maybe Red was issuing a recall! haha. This is really cool though, hopefully the movie doesn't suck...
paul Cameron is my favorite DP especially when he is hooked up with Mr T. Scott:). Man on Fire is a cinematic master piece.
whoa thats cool, the movie stars colin farrel as the lead with kate beckinsale supporting and bryan cranston as the villain........
Great news!! I'm looking forward to this, although I do love the Paul Verhoeven version Arnie was the worst casting conceivable for the role. Colin Farrell is good casting because he can play the role that Dick wrote, which was an average guy in an average job is haunted by dreams of another world and another life and...you know the rest. They have said they are planning to pay closer attention to the source material this time, and of course I do love Kate Beckinsale (after the Maxim covershoot, the Underworld and now this she'll be a RED veteran).
Its also being shot in 2D apparently, which is cool.
yes of course almost forgot to write that, its also the first red epic movie not being shot on 3d....
If that's true that's pretty big news. There's of course been a lot of speculation that Epic has been popular because it's so much more compact than 35mm for shooting 3D. If it was chosen over 35mm on a film which can afford the film stock and is being shot 2D then they could have used any camera just as easily.
