This is just in sync with Martins "do not" list, but still:

    Great!

No need to worry so much about because it's just a speculation.

Looks like everyone here forgot Avatar was mainly performance capture and CG No landscapes shots and portraits. Of course except for the live shots.

With all sincerity ... Congratulations on the sale.

    Barbara Walters would ask ...

"Do you know James Cameron well?"
    "Do you like him?"
"Do you have to like someone to sell them your camera?"

That's what I've been saying all the time...there is no such thing as too many cameras, specially as good as RED :)

That's 25 3D rigs...is he using them as crash cams or fiddling around with 360 degree coverage?

Well done, that's big news in the industry.

Although I agree with Marks post, I'm going to use my 200 forum post to say congratulations to the RED team.

I'm sorry, but I must ask. What is your obsession regarding the EPIC-S + Dragon Sensor all about? Do you seriously expect the two to cost less than $15,000 for the body only? I'm afraid I can't read your talk as a joke...maybe it even isnt. I like to be one with an optimist outlook...however, I also realize that we need to refrain from deviating away from reality.

As generous as RED is, I can see how some can be fooled for a second or two. But I have to break it to you. RED is actually not a charity organization.

RED has also made it clear that they have found out who they are. They are not the company who wishes to sell a cheap HD camera to the masses, as you have for so long been clamoring for. They instead, are a CINEMA grade company, who have the ability to make products which are not only sought after by the top tier of filmmakers for their QUALITY, but also down to the filmmakers who are in their season of formation and are looking for AFFORDABILITY.

(Hopefully I don't come across as being harsh, but rather one who is making a few points that desperately need to be addressed)
