There are some of the latest rumors that JC for C/P Group also "booked" or pre-ordered Sony F65 for his 3D rigs...then they will have all the best digital cameras available...

50 is a number that maybe can be set for ring type Matrix style froze effect motion shots hahahahaha just Epics instead of still digi cams, which ....can possibly shoot in sync
hahahahahaha just a guess here , even can be 3d made .

Now can Mr Cameron buy 50 rigs of our moco stuff ? hahahahahahaha

this is amazing and beyond anything i ever imagined, now this news will shut up all those peoples who were claiming that 2k and 1080p is all u will ever need because james cameron made the biggest movie ever (read AVATAR) on this resolution. Red is and will always be at the front among the companies making digital cinema cameras............

Wait, so EpicX has less of a warranty than EpicM? Or both have a two year?

I’m so happy (purely for selfish reasons); the dots are being joined, slowly dot by dot in the way we all hoped they would be (and should be).

Dang, where can you rent a pair of Epics…

(I bet that’s really cheap considering demand)

    Wonderful news for everybody.

    Cheers,

    Eric

Does James Cameron not have a new production teamed up with Cirque Du Soleil? Maybe the Arri's or F65 are for that production? We'll know in the official press release. With Avatar to be a water movie, compact maybe needed to house 3-d rigs? All is Speculation of course.
