Sorry I didn't answer Enrique, yes using the RED 5" Touch Screen, and the hood its the Hoodman 5.6" http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Hood_for.html

The monkey is super friendly, too cute to have around, as all the girls go to him, but good Girls magnet... ;)

    Ketch - or anyone else!

Do you think this would be good for 5'' touchscreen - as it gives you an access point to touch the screen?

Jack, the Hoodman 5.6" I use does not give easy access to the Touch Screen as it is long, so your solution would be better for that, however I have not used it, so not sure if it fits.

Hey, you can always have the monkey help you with the touchscreen and hood, it has really long fingers!

I think that is a decent option, however given its limited size, I think there will be quite a bit of ambient spill coming up from the bottom and potentially glaring off the screen. I guess you pick your poison. Have a glare free screen or be able to actually use the touch screen to change camera settings when you need to without having to ate off the hood.

Chris, with the Hood on, there is no flairs form any were, but you still do get reflections of yourself on the Screen unfortunately do to his high reflective characteristic,
like Apple Screens, we wish for a Antiglare model, just like we wished so for the iPad... ;)
