Mike Seymour has one, which I think is the only one at the moment. I know a few people who are nearly next on the list so anticipate a few more in the next couple of months. When Epic X hits in numbers, maybe nearing June/July, there will instantly be dozens if not hundreds.

I think the demand for Epics is going to be strong for some time to come. There are very few idle Red Ones around and I predict Epics will be even busier.

what... what ... someone mention my name???

Yes, there will be quite a few "M"s heading down-under in the next couple of weeks.... THANK THE LORD!!!!!!!. A few of my Aussie friends have told me of there magical email from REDEPIC.

If mine turns up, i wont be rude to you all by sticking it on a shelf and to renting it. I couldn't think of anything more rude at this stage, especially when there are so many people out there begging for one. when others have the luxury of just sitting it on the shelf for rent and not contributing tests or anything to the RED FORUM or RED Tech.
I'll be doing testing and working it hard at the same time giving all my feed back to RED to hopefully better the product even more so when the EPIC "X"comes out, it will be hopefully perfect! The "M"s are still uber cool test mules for a little while longer.

I'm going to look forward retiring my RED ONES. It will be a sad day... like putting a retired thoroughbred into a paddock. They will sit up on a shelf next to my desk, so every day I can look up at them and smile.
What a great bloody camera they are and still are...
Remember when the Arri 435 came out and you looked at your Arri III or SR2 with sad eyes and had to tell it, it was all over... Same..

If you need a hand doing any tests, not that you'll need it of course, give me a call as a fellow local RED supporter and owner...I'm not going 'M' but in stage 2 for what feels like an eternity and like everyone just hanging on tight to get EPIC...especially to get it in the mix in our part of the world!

Ill be heading OS for a shoot over the next 2-3 weeks. When I get back, hopefully the camera will be siting on my desk. if so, come over for a look. :)
