Since EPIC is being released into the wild, and it's the Holiday season, I thought it would be a nice time to take a look back over the past few years through photos of what has been an amazing journey so far.
From the days when the RED ONE was in development, and a much smaller group of us would stay up all night on the RED section of DVXUser (getting to provide feature requests directly to the RED Team) until now when we still stay up all night and still have access to them (amazing).
From the initial 25 RED ONEs shipped to probably somewhere over 8,000 working on every type of production imaginable. From RED ONEs early success ("Che", "Knowing", "District 9", and "Gamer" to now becoming the Camera of choice of many PrimeTime TV Shows (ER, Southland, Leverage, Undercovers, Pretty Little Liars, The Gates, Blue Bloods, Sanctuary, Shameless) to Blockbuster movies ("Book of Eli", "Social Network", "Pirates of the Caribbean IV", "Contagion" [RED ONE] and "Spider-man", "The Hobbit", "Underworld 4, and "Jack The Giant Killer" [EPIC] to name a few... well, like I said, what an amazing journey.
Thank you to Jim, Ted, Jarred, Graeme, Deanan, Rob, Stuart, Jon, Kelly, everyone at RED, and all of the amazing members of the RED community that have helped make RED what it is today - for making such a monumental impact in the industry and the world. Thank you for your endless inspiration.
