Cropping 4k image

is there a way to crop a 1920x1080 section out of the 4k image and either save or export it? looking all over for a "crop" icon... is there one?

There is no crop ability yet but I have logged this as feature issue 15991.

Hi docgarry,

Although there is no crop feature as such, you can still get the same result by using the pan and scan effect. If you add the pan and scan effect to your clip, adjust the effect settings and then export to your desired format.

If I have understood your request correctly, this is a usable alternative.

hi daniel, just tried the pan and scan and yes, this can be used as an alternative. it would be a little easier to just be able to define a size for a window and then crop, but in the meantime the combination of zoom and horizontal/vertical adjustment will work.
