Yea forgot about the ND filters, I think it will contain two but didn't hear anything about it in the video.

The fixed Scarlet has the option of: OFF, .9ND, and 1.8ND. We literally had 60 seconds with the Scarlet so this is by no means a comprehensive video.

Last we heard RED has no plans for a wide angle adapter but the Scarlets 77mm front will accept 3rd party adapters.

The focal lengths are 7.5mm-60mm. That is the S35mm equivalent of 18.5 - 148mm or FF35 Equivalent of 28mm-224mm.

I don't see in the video if you turned the Scarlet on. Did it actually work? I would like to be convinced by the all purpose ring on the lens. I've used camera with such all purpose ring and it allways was a pain to work with... Hope to see a Scarlet soon next year.

It seem, it's a wheel like on the standard camcorders. I don't think the developped a sensor with variable sencivity. It's much complicated than adding an optical ND filter and if this kind of thechnology would exist they would have told us and implemented it on the Epic camera.

that would be awesome:-D u'd think with the side handle stuck on an epic or scarlet in virtually every video and picture they'd throw it in with stage 2 package:-P
