Hello guys,
I am going to do some compositing work in nuke with Red files..and i want to be sure that i am going to work in the right workflow.
I am quite confused with the LUT settings,gamma etc
We are going to deliver in HDCAM SR and Digital Cinema (DCP).
When i load my red file in nuke i have the following default settings in the read node.
colorspace: default (linear )
In the red metadata section
decode colorspace : Red space
gamma curve: Linear
My viewers LUT: is set on sRGB (i don't have any monitor or external display..i am just going view the image from my pc)
Is there any of these settings i should set to something else? Or something i didn't mention.
My image looks quit washed out that's why i do believe i need to change something...
What about my write node colorspace settings ?
What settings i should use considering we are going to deliver in HDcamSR and Digital cinema as i mentioned above.
I would really appreciate some help if you can!!
