I recently moved to Fort Worth and will have my camera [74] next month.
I wasn't able to pick it up during the most recent RED DAY as I'm in
Virginia doing the final color grading on a feature I shot here last summer.
Our first RED feature "MAX VO2" about elite bicycle racing is scheduled
to begin production in the spring. www.maxvo2themovie.com

New RED #54 in Dallas at MP&E Equipment Rental

We were at RED Day on Thursday October 18th and had a great time learning the camera and meeting everybody there. We were along side Panavision picking up their first unit and other RED recipients from as far away as Australia.

We will have full support for RED and its progression.
Our RED will be backed with years of rental experience along side
all the toys and tools our clients demand.

In anticipation of this camera we have just received a new Angenieux Optimo 24-290 zoom. We already offer a full line of monitors, support, matte boxes and Arri speed primes for RED. Along with camera accessories we offer lighting and grip trucks and Fisher dollies.

Our website will be updated in a few days with all thats RED.

    Thanks again,
    Bryan Mayo

We just shot a piece using the RED camera for Hilton in LA. We're based here in Dallas. It was a swimming pool piece for one of their web sites and all I can say is the footage is amazing! Post so far is a little tricky, just finding the best way to do things, but fun nonetheless.

I'm ready to shoot with one again!

I haven't checked this thread is quite a while.

FriskeVision -- I'm just a freelance DP/owner. Recently moved to the area and shot my
first Texas feature, THE WIDOW'S MIGHT, for HeuMoore Productions, this past summer.
That little film went on to win AUDIENCE CHOICE and BEST OF FESTIVAL, with a check
for $101,000 at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival.

That's the largest cash prize in the U.S. for an independent film production.
