    Hi Jim, two questions:
1.if Epic-M can't playback the clip, then can we use the 3rd party tools to record the HD-SDI such as 'Ki Pro'?
2.When are we going to make the payment of Epic-M? The full payment or just depoiset?I sent email to Kelly, but haven't heared anything from her.

    Regards

I should clarify my post regarding playback -I've never lost R1 footage at any time in the hundreds of hours shot- and we're moving so fast there's no time to check until we wrap and are back at the hotel, or wherever.

When I stop recording and it posts I know it will be fine. Such is my confidence in the system.

Mobile Rocket will be on hand for this project anyway so bases are covered.

Sure. And playback, along with the other disabled features, will be enabled by firmware upgrade in the near future.

Epic - "M" designation could be confused with the Mysterium sensor. We talk about the "M" and the "MX". I told someone today about the Epic-"M" and they asked why Red was going to the older sensor.

I hit them and said "shut up and give me $58,000"

LOL.... I think I can manage with that. Actually, I was just mentioning a possible temporary limitation.

What I'm personally much more interested in is EPIC's long-exposure abilities. Will we have the ability to do longer exposures? Even up to 30s or externally triggered "bulb" cycles? It seems to be one of those questions about EPIC that has not been answered yet.
