Because that extra 20% actually costs $20k more to provide.

Run film at 24fps and then some at 100fps and see how much more $$$ you spend.

Epic X is a bargain..no matter what the other cameras cost.

Reading through the responses on here it's clear that too many people are focusing on the nomcalture of other manufacturer's; I'm only surprised no one has mentioned animals; Epic Eagle, Epic Bantom - it worked with Tigers and Panthers after all.

I'd choose something that is a modern use of language and acurately reflects viewers' response to the imagery created by these wonderful tools. With that in mind I'd go for Epic OMG Epic WTF

Maybe we need a naming competition with the winner getting an Epic. My vote goes to Epic WTF:)
