Tom, to respond to what you said, i understand they are making a proprietary connector, but again no different than the one on the red station module, which is priced at the same as the cf $250.

But, it looks like Jim answered this already in another thread:

Too early... we are likely to price the SSD module the same as the CF module, but you'll need to buy some media. You don't have to if you want to shoot 5K @ 24fps to CF cards. But that is about all the CF cards can do. Up the frame rate and you are looking for trouble.

I've gotten a pretty good idea of how long the battery in the side handle lasts through videos and posts over the months, etc..

I was just curious how long one of those batteries typically take to charge?

Just a moment ago, looking at this thread, I saw a snippet from Jim about the SSD camera side being thrown in (for same price) to replace the CF camera side. When I refreshed the screen, the snippet had gone! Anyone else just see that or am I going crazy?

Check post #114 or #115 for the link, it did disappear I don't know why but either way that's where it is.
