I posted this on the Avid forum, and I thought I would post here too.
I have a sequence cutting RED media through AMA in MC5 that needs to be sent to Assimilate Scratch. This seems pretty easy, but all the tutorials I find seem to relate to Red footage that was transcoded to DNX. For my situation, I can't seem to get it to work right and I can't find a definitive way to do it.
- What type of EDL should I use and with what settings?
- What is translated and what isn't? (transitions, timewarps)
