Help black screen

Hi,

My cam is under firmware 21.
I have a client who shot with the camera recently.
He can play the rushes on the cam but on red alert, red cine or any editing software, the image is black.

any idea ?

Check your RGB values in Redcine/Redalert please (change it to 1)

Yeah, 99% of the time this means the meta data is sending some values to 0. Sometimes puts it in black and white, sometimes black screen.

Not to worry, the footage is fine, just ignore the meta data and enter values manually.

Also you can usually stop the camera from continuing to do this by reinstalling the build.
