Well... I guess that's a pretty good use of high speed...
Nice....
Great stuff, but where is the nr 2 on the WTA list: Danish Caroline Wozniaki? Buuhuu..
Abel was proud to provide the new Phantom Flex to the New York Times for this shoot. While the camera's full incredibly high frame rate capabilities were not fully utilized for this production, the amazing 1000 ISO sensitivity made shooting the athletes far more comfortable.
Beautiful shots, even so I disagree with some of the framing and focusing choices made, but beautiful nonetheless, and the new FLEX is really a monster of a camera, and have been making some serious considerations on Buying one to take bak to Italy, as I think will play beautifully together with my Epic-X camera footage, in my first Movie.
Will see.. so much stuff to buy..so many decision..so little money ha ha..at list for now ;)
When I watched Victoria Azarenka I could not stop looking at the highlights on her arms.
Its a blue halo, not CA but like a blue version of CA. What is that?
If its normally treated as undesirable, I thought it worked for this piece.
I agree with ketch, some of the framing, cuts and creative focus choices were distracting.
I totally understand too that some of these selects and edits may have happened outside the cinematographers field of control.
