Yeah, that's a nice shot.
Clearly, this will never fly... its not ready for the Avid™. ;)
In all seriousness, thanks for showing the many industries that Red serves, that there's more uses for a motion picture camera than just shooting current resolution broadcast TV. Oh, and for doing it at an amazingly cheap price point. As a customer, I appreciate not feeling like I'm funding your company's R&D efforts all on my own.
But I hear that 4K isn't really 4K... so let's just throw the whole thing out.
Was that shot in HDRx™ mode?
From direct experience, I can tell you that when you have a $400 an hour model, the RED quickly pays for itself in the ludicrously high number of "perfect moments" it delivers.
It seems I always have my finger on the shutter at just the right moment... (i.e. I just roll throughout the shoot)
Yea MX with low light nice look...
Rather than thinking of the still's aproach, using a motion camera, as a cop out or a shotgun type style, the stills photographer will learn to become even more of a director, one that might begin to approach the nature of an artistic director of a dance/ballet Co, etc.. Seeing the "decisive moment" was rarely a problem for these types of still shoots; pre-visualizing and creating the world that led to the "decisive moment" was the problem- and that hasn't changed.
Guys,
you could still experiment with HDR using MX images...
Have a look at this tread:
HDR & MX using RCX together with any HDR app >>>

Ha. I thought I was doing big stuff printing 60" wide stills from Red One motion files for courtroom displays. Coach has me beat, BIG time! Congrats on a brick and mortar endorsement that draws many eyeballs. Even if they don't know what they are looking at...
