Focus....

Can we select an object on the touchscreen, and the camera focuses on it? Perhaps the camera AI even detects/tracks the selected object as we move the camera, and maintains focus. That could change the way we make movies.

Okay, some ideas to consider:

- presets with different in/out velocity curves to get from focus settings A to B (ease, linear, etc...)
- presets with different in/out forced time interval to get from focus settings A to B
- presets to control both above
- presets to control both with random values (with specified ranges) for both/each above
- ability to draw curves for both above on touch screen

And while you're at it, all the above with specified focus points too (as opposed to AF). Or even more than two focus points?

For those of us that are curious about tripod needs for the Scarlet Fixed, can you tell us what head and tripod that is? Looks like a Manfrotto but there's a red logo on the front leg, new product?
