  1. #1 SDI out via SuperDrive Port
    Hi All,

All my PCI ports are busy including the extra empty one above the Graphics card. Anyone know of any adapters that I can place in teh superdrive and get the SDI out via the superdrive door, from the RED Rocket SDI out of course?

I do not want to get a BreakOut Box

Dewalt make a great drill for the job :-)
There is some space on the back of the MacPro for you to drill holes for the SDI out from the RR.
Yes it ain't pretty but Apple seem pretty distracted not to be concerned about with Pro's need.

It may void your warranty, but worth it.

I drilled holes in the back of my case. Works great.

But I also sawed off the handles on my case so it would go in a standard 19" rack. So drilling a couple little holes didn't seem like such a big deal.
