The REDmote and REDmote PRO ( as well as the Side Handle etc. ) will be able to control motors inside lenses such as Canon, Nikon, Fuji, etc... provided of course you have the accompanied electronic lens mount on the EPIC/Scarlet.

By the past i show picture of EPIC with some kind of rifle bipod. Is there a way to adapt somme military stuff on the future EPIC and SCARLET like bipod handle... This kind of gear seems to be cheap and useful.

The engineer in me would love some detailed info for reassurance that such an issue isn't present in epic.
The difference between REDCODE 42 and REDCODE 250. 24fps is about 2.5:1 compression. Mathematically lossless.

Scarlet (likely) to actually happen in 2010? YES! No questions for me then. Hope non Red One owners can have one this year as well!

A FF sensor would be nice with the RED pro anamorphics. How is the Monstro program moving along?

    Hi Jim,

It might seem silly now to ask about the Monstro program, with all the headaches related to Epic-X and so on.

Still - is the Monstro program making normal progress? Will we see Epics/Scarlets with Monstro chips late this year/early next year?

    Thanks!
    George

Is there any reason all the new cool camera support gear has to wait for Epic to ship?

A lot of that would be killer with MX.

And thanks for the new FCP installer btw

Are you people working on a 4K projector in the near future?
