Not sure if you’re still taking questions, but here goes
How dose the 2/3” compare to the epic in
a) Start up time
b) Battery discharge time

and last we heard the fix package was

Brain/lens
Side CF
Redmote
2.8”touch screen
redvolt + charger

So my question is has this changed, and if not where dose the battery go?

I understand prototyping means you can’t give us solid facts as all can change in the world of red but all information will be (and has been) appreciated.

Hey Jarred - Thanks so much for staying up late and giving us some great tidbits. I am still a little unclear about the weight issue. I want to believe that your answer to Joseph's question should be taken at face value; i.e. the fixed Scarlet brain weighs in at about 4.5 pounds - complete with lens. Is that true? It does seem too good to be true based on Epic's weight but, if it is, I am totally jazzed. I just want to silence my inner skeptic. Thanks again.

need to remember that the EPIC has a large sensor with a large mechanism to move that sensor around.. plus on EPIC there is alot of weight in the lens mount and mount re-enforcement, as well as a bit more re-enforcement all around..

And of course.. that 4.5 pounds is just the brain with lens.. no handle, side CD, battery module, etc.

Thats already done in the newer version of the side CF.. Personally, I like it going forward, so that's what I rock. Still debating if we will make 2 versions so people can choose the orientation.
