Maybe this is a stupid question, but... why colors in DCP when played in
EasyDCP player look so different than the origina dpx files?

They look dull, washed, kind of pastel...

Any light on the subject will be highly appreciated...

They're in X'Y'Z' color space. For them to look "normal," you must apply an XYZ to RGB conversion matrix. The commercial version on EasyDCP Player does this.
