  1. #1 Redmote app on ipad to control epic/scarlet?
Just thought I would throw this idea out there...but it would be awesome to have a touchscreen remote interface through the ipad to control the epic/scarlet brains. We already have Redmote to handle those duties..but perhaps Red could develop the software and sell it as an app so that there would be some roi for developing it. just thinking out loud here.

    bad idea? or good idea?
    thoughts?

It would be excellent if someone developed an Android app so that I can use my HTC Desire as a wireless viewer... although I'm sure that there may be licensing issues etc thats going to prevent that

Excellent! - Does the appearance of this on iphone and ipad preclude the development of something similar for android though?

Sounds brilliant. Is it going to use Bluetooth or is the REDMote or camera going to act as an ad-hoc wireless network?

And would it be too crazy to suggest having a virtual follow focus and zoom wheel? I'm guessing that changing the aperture would be fairly simple to implement, but focus and zoom would be awesome.

Most excellent.. adds another reason to get an iPad. Will this be a full feature Redmote, replacing the need for a Redmote?

Would be great to use in conjunction with h264 mod, and have a split screen redmote and viewing monitor. Portriant mode, bottom half redmote, top half mointor. Landscape mode, fullscreen monitor.

I'm also a programmer, getting into iPad development, would love to help out in the iPad field.

Sounds amazing! If possible, make an Android version of the app as well. Pretty please?

    Red Team strikes again!! ;~)

Now if I could just make up my mind in which iPad would be better, the WiFi or WiFi + 3G? I give a 3G one as a gift to my buddy, but He said that the WiFi is pretty sweet and did not connected the 3G yet, suggestions?
