    4) How much difference in dynamic range should the 2/3 have in comparison with epic (13.5)
    5) Will the read/reset of the 2/3 be on par with the epic (5ms)
    6) Any news on the telephoto / wide angle adapters for the 2/3?
    7) Will there be some sort of 'basic package' available for the 2/3 cinema or S35?
    8) Does the fixed 2/3 package come in a nice case or is this something we should have made (ie Pelican)
    9) Have the 2/3 or Epic been tested yet with Canon or Nikon lens?
    10) Can we PLEASE see some more sample video and pics from the 2/3 fixed! :)

    Just some ideas!
I'm not a RED employee yet, but this is what I'd say from the outside looking in...

    1: I think you'd hate to receive a 2/3" Scarlet in 2011
2: Why not just ask what it is? :D
3: It's RED...of course their are a million and maybe a few more features that haven't been discussed and we'll say "Brilliant!"
    4: Good Question
    5: Another good question
6: Optics are going to be great...that's the market that Jim's done quite well in.
7: There already has been a confirmation on a basic package for the Fixed Scarlet and I can't see them not doing it for the cinema Scarlet likewise. The S35 is a good 6-8 months out, and we shall take a look at that brain after we get some 2/3" specifics down. :)
8: Not the most pressing on my mind at the moment, but I'd suggest you go ahead and get the pelican with one of these... http://www.red.com/store/895-0001
9: You better believe they've done some intense testing with the EPIC. ;)
10: It'll be here when they are ready. Don't tell me you don't like showing off your new toys when you have them ready for your friends.

    Haha :) I like the 'yet' :)

    1. Yes, I'd hate to receive a Scarlet in 2011, I'd much rather see it in 2010 :)
    6. Not a question of the optics being good, but of what they are considering as multipliers for the tele/wide converters.
    8. Just found a local Pelican dealer that stocks ALL sizes. Was just curious and throwing out a random question. I really like the Pelican cases, and yes, it would look nice with the RED logo on there! :)

This is a nice break while working late :) Glad I could help get some good questions on the table. Should be sleeping since I have to be at a shoot at 7:30 in the morning, but too much to do :) (Eastern Time)

What a treat it was to check this thread while I'm at work and catch what is about to go down. It can get depressing at times on the Ambulance, but in-between calls I find myself checking the site, hoping for moments like these. And here we go....

    1. Is Monstro Scarlet alive or is it still just a napkin sketch?
    2. Will FF35 Scarlet be getting anamorphic de-squeeze in monitor?
    3. Once the S35 and 2/3" Scarlets ship, will a lot of that work be re-usable for the FF35 program? Or will it be another whole wait cycle?
