Will see on Wed. what Furnace has to say about shipping dates. I do quite a bit of remote grading and shipping material over the net from remote locales with slow connection is a killer. Said that, it's difficult to justify paying $2k for just that one feature, unless Red decides to finally implement it as part of RedCine X...
Just out of curiosity, what toolkit do you guys use to develop the GUI for your applications?
Team,
1. Is there any plan to have a way to depict the name of the project that is open and we are working on? This may sound trivial, but when you are opening scenes profusely one after the other, it is easy to forget the title of the project you are working on (Scene XX).
2. Also, would there be a way to send the image to a reference monitor? I have a double monitor configuration for better use of "Real Estate", but I also have a simple Blackmagic Intensity Pro card, and I use it (via HDMI or component) to send the signal to my calibrated/reference monitor(s). That can be a real help, and a great killer!
Cheers!!!
Luis-Red Rocket card does this #2 perfectly. Get one, you won't regret it. Besides the monitoring capabilities, it is super fast. Once you go real time...you won't want to go back.
Kevin,
Yea, I know. It is that I am keeping my $10.5K aside for the Epic-X. Once it is here with me, I am planing to get into the rocket and get to the moon...
However, in the meantime, I would love to have this option that optimizes my current configuration...
Cheers,
Okay, but don't hold your breath. RED is generous, but this would probably take away from the allure of the Rocket. Save them pennies! :-)
Yea, I know... But I am an eternal optimist, to the extreme! Just ask my wife...![]()
Deanan this is awesome!
Jus kidding Deanan.
Anything for Stereoscopic 3D materials.
