I'm a little confused, what does the CF one do that the Lexar FW800 doesnt do (besides obviously a few extra ports)?

EDIT: is a module coming that'd allow the CF to be dumped straight to a consumer hdd without use of a computer?

E-sata for one.. our cards now read faster than a standard firewire 800 port so E-Sata opens the door to some higher read/write speeds.

Jarrad will there ever be a time with RED where we can just plug our Reds via esata directly into our laptops or larger array of storage (solid state I am thinking).

Will this help with offloading the existing RED DRIVEs at all? via Lemo to eSATA, maybe?

correct... and the power link cables come with the devices, they are not proprietary but normal Sata Power cables. We just made custom versions of them ( braided black :) )
