    I am so excited for RED 2.0 and all their next gen products. For me, the image quality with the RED ONE was / is plenty good but making films is so
    much about the process of doing so for me. This is where Epic / Scarlet are going to really make our jobs easier and such a pleasure. I can't wait to hold a REDMOTE and change settings off camera, take apart and put together all the modules like an expensive tonka toy and have all the image quality I need for any/all applications. Did I say how much I am really looking forward to Epic? :-)

    But RED just keeps chipping away at that excitement, one innovation at a time...
    Alexa = ( Epic Resolution & Features ) x .25 + ( Epic Price ) x 3

    Not a good formula IMO...

    You forgot to subtract modularity and aesthetics.

    What will be the maximum framerate the 64gb cf card will achieve (in a RED ONE) in REDCODE 42 at 2K 2:1?

    Just wondering if the 64gb card will be able to handle the same framerates at the same compression rates as a RED DRIVE and RED RAM?

    Goes to show how useful a forum is in designing a camera. Red had complaints about the location of the stop start button on the CF module and it was changed.

    Beautiful images of the camera BTW. I hope I can make some beautiful images on a Red some time soon.
