Pretty sure that's the old side CF unit - this one is fixed forwards.

I hear ya.. I hope that's not the case.. I liked that feature. Being able to reverse the port as needed was pretty cool.

Please take a look at the first photo of the actual prototype on this thread:

You will see the monitor port now faces the rear.. I would seem you can change it as you need too.

No need to get an L-Connector

And it's good to know the side handle is working. If I'm not mistaken, that takes a regular REDvolt battery, right?

Just to be clear, one can control the entire camera using only the side handle, right? Or is the REDmote necessary for some controls or features (other than wireless operation, of course)?
