On a slightly different subject, is it possible to view waveforms in the source monitor as you can in FCP? It'd be really useful to find the claps when synching up.

Yes, toggle timeline view to source.

Actually all you have to do is select all the clips in the bin that you want to unlink, then hold command-shift, right click and select unlink.

Then select them all again, right click and select modify, then turn off the audio tracks you don't want.

Then relink the clips and hey presto, no sound!

Then you can Autosync with sound clips as you like.

Hope this is useful to someone.

    That's definitely useful info!
When you create grouped clips from your bin it automatically uses every track from your audio file. Is there a way to only use specific tracks?

Normally I sync going through the timeline so that I can use only the on set mixdown (Track1&2) for offline editorial. If this could be done within your bin that would save me a lot of time potentially...?

    Thanks in advance,
