definitely, I've had the same lens (a "Techno-Cooked" version) on steadi for an entire day. I think it's like 7 lbs.

I weighed it the other day and it's 6.2 lbs.

Thanks for the info Matthew. Good to know about the two different "looks" obtainable with the lens.

I'm the one who sold Matthew this lens. It's great, a really sweet piece of glass. About the same size as one of the big RED Pro Primes. Everythng Matt and Tony and others have said about it are true. It just didn't rent enough here at Abel so I figured a REDuser could make better use of it. Ask me anything you want about it. Whomever buys it will get a nice lens.

I've owned one of these before- really great lens as it's just small enough for handheld and has the Cooke look. It also has a very beautiful and unique flare. Anyways good luck on your sale- I didn't sell mine for enough!

This is a very nice lens. Flat field with low rectilinear distortion. I converted a pair of them to cover 65mm 5 perf. The image was very good. I had 6 or 7 of them on my bench to choose from. The difference between each was so minimal that it really did not matter which ones I used.
