Thank you all for taking the time to comment. Even if it's just a little positive note, it really helps keep us motivated. We are all working on this, on top of our 50+ hour a week jobs, commutes, kids, etc. Sitting in a dark room at one o'clock in the morning trying to get a render right, it can sometimes be hard to remember why we go through the trouble.

I truly hope that I've helped to spark some interest in this project and that you will all enjoy it when the whole short is completed. Already, I've worked and met with some great new talent on this project, and we haven't even started principal photography yet! This is an ambitious project, to say the least, and we all have a lot of time and energy invested in it.

We have two other Reds lined up to lens this. Locations are locked, props and equipment are locked and the art department is getting everything in order to turn some modern locations into the 1940s. While I do enjoy post, my favorite part is getting in the trenches (literally!) with the camera. I can't wait for May!

I'm astounded by the positive feedback, and was honestly a little worried about what the feedback would be. At a time when these boards are filled with posts about reduced noise characteristics of the MX chip, here we are applying a process that accentuates the grain/noise. We felt that the look was appropriate to the material, and from the response, you do too.

Again, I'll try to get some before after screen shots up soon.

Thanks for looking, and happy shooting!

Its looks like over on io9.com, someone is making a huge deal of it, making it look like its a Blockbuster budget picture, and the trolls are having a field day with it.... You might want to clear it up for them

    Zac, thanks!
Our producer has sent over a correction notice.
Any press is good press, though!

I also made a correction in a comment, but it didn't make it on the page... I think they are filtering them.

The comments from the trolls are hilarious, though. I wish that I had as much time on my hands as some people seem to!
